Early Childhood Initiatives
The AAMT and Early Childhood Australia (ECA) released our joint Position Paper on Early Childhood Mathematics in 2006. Support papers on Play and Resources have also been published to address and provide further elaboration on these "hot topics".
The two organisations are continuing to work together to make people aware of the paper and its implications, to elaborate some of the matters raised in the paper for publication on our websites, and to argue for funding of joint research and development project(s) in early childhood mathematics.
